呢個HC(high cert) 或 HD (high dip)既時裝設計course其實都幾難入, 大約要係做時裝設計既行業, 或曾修讀證書, 或讀過IVE既高級文憑先可以報名, 詳情可睇睇佢既網站:

據說膽粗粗既我, 以上既條件都冇, 只憑讀左個普通既時裝繪圖就去試下報名, 因為我又想快d讀到個高級文憑去轉工, 唔想再做會計, 咪心急報左名. 所以人地唔收我也唔可以怪間學校既. 以下係理大秘書處既回覆:

You may wish to note that applications, once submitted, will be passed to the academic departments concerned for consideration. To let applicants make their study plan, departments are reminded to update applicants' status as early as possible. Your case has been passed to the Institute of Textiles and Clothing for a review and you will hear from the Institute direct in due course.

答左等如冇答既野, 都只係答左會把我既case送到去時裝設計學院審批, 如果合資格就會由該學院直接通知我. 之後再收到一封比較詳細既解釋信, 由一位報名部門既官員回覆, 佢也答得好詳細:

Dear Miss Shing

Regarding your complaint, we have looked into the issue and have come up with the following details.

We noticed that your education background and working experiences did not fulfill the basic entrance requirement at the very beginning. However, we noted that you have an attendance certificate of "Fashion Design and Illustration" Course offered by the School of Professional Education and Executive Development of our University, thus we treated your application as a special case and put it in the waiting list.

From our experience, we usually have places available in August, and we will re-consider the candidates on the waiting list and seek for special approval from the University to accept special cases.

Your application has gone through the same procedure. Finally, the committee determined that fulfilling the basic entrance requirement or having related working experiences is necessary for enrollment, therefore, your application has been turned down.

We feel sorry to know that your study plan has been affected, we wish you every success in the future and thank you for considering our program.

都唔知開唔開心好, 開心既係我只係讀過一個小小既證書, 就已經列入考慮範圍, 和一般既高級證書學生冇太大分別, 最後雖然失敗, 都有少少自豪感既; 但唔開心既係我都係付合唔到佢入學既基本要求, 讀書都仲可以惡補, 最多唔影相; 但行業呢家野連我自己都冇得決定, 我都想做同時裝有關既工作, 可惜個天唔比機會我, 都唔知點算好, 覺得冇機會讀, 好灰...
